Coronavirus (COVID-19)

last updated 10th March 2020

The health and wellbeing of our clients is our top priority. This statement is to assist our clients who already have holidays booked, as well as to offer information to anyone considering booking a holiday with us.

We are monitoring the situation with coronavirus very closely. As a UK company we are adhering to advice given by the UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO). You can find out more and check for updates on their website FCO Travel Advice

If the FCO advise against travel to a destination for which you have booked a holiday with us, then it is possible we will have to postpone or cancel the holiday. In this case we advise you to contact your travel insurance provider to discuss making a claim with them.

If there is no Government advice against travel to your destination our usual cancellation policy will apply (see under heading ‘cancellations and changes by you’ in our Terms & Conditions.

If the UK Government imposes travel restrictions from within the UK we will take this into account for our UK based clients, but at present it is very difficult to formulate a policy until we know more.

As things stand at the moment we will offer the following options should a tour not be able to run:

Postpone holiday – either alternative dates this year or the following year for the same holiday.

Alternative holiday – we can discuss moving your booking to a different holiday, for this year or next. If it is the same price no charges will be made, if less we refund the difference, if more expensive you pay the difference.

Refund – we will refund any monies paid to us by you.

Greenwings will handle bookings affected by coronavirus on a case by case basis so we advise that you contact us to discuss your own personal situation and/or concerns.
